The Software developer is responsible for working towards delivering reliable software and hardware solutions, writing impeccable code and delivering projects on time and within budget. Taking ownership of assigned developement projects from inception to delivery.
Tasks
Analyze system specifications and requirements;
Expected to conduct system analysis and developement, to keep the systems current with changing technologies;
Responsible for analysis of current programs including performance, diagnosis and troubleschooting of problem programs, and designing solutions to problematic programming;
Responsible for planning, processing and performing all jobs in an efficient manner;
Analyze and design the development of software systems;
Responding promptly and professionally to bug reports;
Research and recommend software to tool management;
Provide recommendations to management concerning issues of programmer productivity and software development management;
Provide assistance to system engineers and support personnel as needed to determine system problems;
Responsible for development of new programms, analyzes current programs and processes, and making recommendations which yield a more cost effective product;
Provide general administrative support to the company.
Position requirements
Minimum of 5 years experience as software developer;
Strong and extensive knowledge and experience of C++, Java, Perl/PHP, MySQL, MS SQL Server, Linux, Cisco, HTML, .Net, Apache & Web;
Excellent written and oral communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
